I am doing this because I was you.
I gave birth to my daughter, Nora, in October of 2018. As a first time mom, I had no idea of what kind of sleep deprivation I would endure for the first 6 months. I was absolutely miserable. I loved my daughter dearly but found myself in a constant state of stress as I couldn’t get her to fall asleep or stay asleep on her own. I fed her to sleep and held her for every nap. I always thought because she was a baby, she should have been able to sleep anywhere and I didn’t understand why MY baby wasn’t doing that.
Bedtime consisted of her screaming for 2+ hours a night as I was trying desperately to rock her down. My husband and I were tired, frustrated, and craving time together.
I read all the books, followed all the Bloggers, and thought I knew exactly what to do before she was born. I quickly found that reading a book or blog post and trying to follow a pre-set schedule in real life was impossible. Then, I turned to Google and would wade through endless amounts of clashing information for hours. I would try one method one night and would quickly give up because it wasn't working. Nothing seemed to work to get her the rest she needed.
I was desperate for help so I turned to a Sleep Consultant that a family member told me about. Within the first 3 days, our lives were changed. She slept 11 hours by the 3rd night. Instantly, my daughter blossomed in to this happy, pleasant baby. It was crazy to see the transformation!
Because I had this knowledge of healthy sleep with my daughter, I was confident that I would know exactly what to do to lay that foundation for healthy sleep for my twin boys when they arrived in April 2020.
I had SUCH a different experience with my boys than I had with my daughter and there were 2 of them! From day 1, I've known exactly what to do to get my boys the healthy sleep they've needed. They have been expert sleepers ever since and are very happy baby boys!
After my experience with my own children, I decided that I had to become certified to be able to give this gift of healthy sleep to as many families as I could.
I am truly passionate about Sleep Coaching because I whole heartedly believe in it. I have seen what an impact it makes on the well-being of my children and on my own well-being as a mother and a wife. Sleep is a biological NEED; You need it, and your child needs it.
When you don't sleep, it starts to affect every aspect of your life. When your child doesn't sleep, it affects their ability to grow and thrive. There is such a difference between a child who is well rested vs. a child who is sleep deprived. Please allow me to help you see the difference and learn that life doesn't have to be full of sleep deprivation once you have children.
There's so much information out there about sleep. It can be very overwhelming, confusing, and inaccurate.
Let me support you on the path to healthy sleep for your family.
